Sharon Land Trusts Student Work Program offers Sharon’s youth an opportunity to work in the community on habitat and wildlife enhancement projects as well as trail building and maintenance. The Program will run for 2 weeks in the summer of 2022, and is open to students entering grades 9 to 12 (14 to 17 years old). This year we will be working on Benton Hill Preserve and Mary Moore Preserve, but locations may change and we’ll inform all involved well in advance. Tentative dates for the program are Monday, June 20 to Friday, June 24 and Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1. Days are 9am to 2pm. Each student will be paid $12 per hour as an educational reward at the end of the project.
