The Sharon Land Trust welcomed friends and supporters to our second annual Cider Press Party on September 19 for an evening celebrating the land we work to protect and the people who make that work possible. Guests enjoyed freshly pressed cider, seasonal food and drinks, live music, and the chance to gather with friends and neighbors in support of land conservation in Sharon.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of this year’s Land Stewardship Awards, honoring Anne Hepner and Larry Power for their extraordinary contributions to the Sharon Land Trust and to land conservation in Sharon. Anne’s decades of volunteer service helped shape the Land Trust and its trails, while Larry played an important role in guiding the organization toward a more active and strategic approach to land protection. In their honor, tribute benches will be placed along Land Trust trails.

Guests also received a special look at Wandering, Dusk, a beautiful print by local artist Jeff Joyce created in support of the Sharon Land Trust. The print captures the quiet beauty of our preserves and will serve as a lasting reminder of the places we are working together to protect. A limited number of prints are available for pre-order through our website, with proceeds supporting the Land Trust’s conservation work.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for this special evening and to all who helped make it possible. Your support allows the Sharon Land Trust to continue protecting forests, fields, wetlands, and trails for future generations.
