Join the Sharon Land Trust and the Sharon Inland Wetlands Commission at the Hamlin Preserve for a guided hike along forest trails\, past vernal pools and wetlands with experts Joe Markow\, local science teacher and amphibian specialist\, and Robin Zitter\, horticulturist and Inland Wetlands Commission member. Discover why these seasonal wetlands are critical habitats for amphibians and other wildlife\, and learn about the variety of species that rely on them. This moderate hike will wind past the upper reaches of Red Mountain\, rock formations\, streams\, and the preserve’s multiple trailside vernal pools.
