SUMMARY:Volunteer Invasive Plant Management: Hamlin Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join our stewardship team of staff and volunteers at our Hamlin Preserve to continue tackling invasive plants that threaten the ecological integrity of our local ecosystems. Hamlin is the site of our largest invasive management project to date\, but the work still continues. The focus during this outing will be on bittersweet vines that are choking a red cedar stand by a beautiful little pond. Volunteer outings like this one are great opportunities to meet new people\, learn about invasive plant management\, and do good for our native flora and fauna. \n\nWhere: Hamlin Preserve\, 19 Stone House Rd\nTime: 10 AM – 12 PM\nDate: Tuesday\, October 20th\n\nIf you are interested in joining us\, please email timhunter@sharonlandtrust.org. Not yet registered as a volunteer? Sign up here!
