SUMMARY:Volunteer Work Day: Invasive Plant Mangement
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with us for a morning of invasive plant management on our beautiful Sharon Mountain Preserve! This will be a short outing that focuses on removing barberry\, bittersweet\, burning bush (try saying that three times fast)\, and other prevelant invasive plants. The work is incredibly rewarding and can be a great opportunity for you to learn how to manage invasive species on your own property. Volunteer days are also a great way to meet cool people\, get some exercise\, and do some good for our preserves–no previous experience required! \nWe often have a picnic lunch after we finish\, feel free to bring food/snacks. \n\nTuesday\, June 9\n10:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n189 East St\n\nEmail timhunter@sharonlandtrust.org if you are interested in joining us or if you have any questions.
