SUMMARY:Volunteer Work Day: Sharon Mountain Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join our stewardship team of staff and volunteers on a short\, fun outing to our secluded Sharon Mountain Preserve. The work will mainly focus on cutting back trail overgrowth\, checking stream crossings\, and clearing downed trees (only if you are comfortable and experienced with chainsaws). This hike is considered easy. Volunteer days are a great way to meet cool people\, get some exercise\, and do some good for our trails–no previous experience required! \nWe often have a picnic lunch after we finish\, feel free to bring some food! \n\nThursday\, May 28\n10:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n189 East St\n\nEmail timhunter@sharonlandtrust.org if you are interested in joining us or if you have any questions.
